Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work The Compassionate by Shezad Dawood. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Shezad Dawood have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work The Protector, The Judge, The Majestic was auctioned for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,776.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Compassionate von Shezad Dawood zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.941,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00.
