Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paradise by Shezad Dawood was sold in the BRIC auction at Phillips in London in April 2011. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,815.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shezad Dawood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Protector, The Judge, The Majestic in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,776.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paradise von Shezad Dawood wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion BRIC bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.815,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shezad Dawood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Protector, The Judge, The Majestic im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.776,14).
