Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Day, First Version by Sarah Sze. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,356.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Sze achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Surprise Ending in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 737,500.00 (€ 603,025.35).
