Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Blues by Sarah Moon. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,878.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sarah Moon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,197.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blues von Sarah Moon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.878,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sarah Moon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.197,13) versteigert wurde.
