A top price for Sarah Moon - as previously expected
The work Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto by Sarah Moon was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,197.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto is the most expensive artwork by Sarah Moon that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto von Sarah Moon kam im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.197,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sarah Moon, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
