Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Avril pour "Elle" I by Sarah Moon was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. The price achieved of EUR 5,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sarah Moon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,197.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Avril pour "Elle" I von Sarah Moon kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sarah Moon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fashion 4, Yohji Yamamoto im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.197,13).
