Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Realist Work No.3 by Sang Huoyao for HKD 32,760.00 (€ 3,925.81). This price was achieved in the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sang Huoyao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Forbidden City in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 63,941.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Realist Work No.3 von Sang Huoyao für HKD 32.760,00 (€ 3.925,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sang Huoyao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Forbidden City im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 63.941,96).
