Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Colourful Clouds Floating Over The Huangpu River - Day And Night (Diptych) by Sang Huoyao. The price achieved of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 34,261.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 280,000.00 – 380,000.00. Other works by Sang Huoyao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Forbidden City was auctioned for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 63,941.96).

Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colourful Clouds Floating Over The Huangpu River - Day And Night (Diptych) von Sang Huoyao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 34.261,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 280.000,00 – 380.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sang Huoyao konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2014 die Arbeit Forbidden City für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 63.941,96) versteigert.
