The work Realist Work No. 2 by Sang Huoyao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,469.92), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sang Huoyao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Forbidden City , which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 63,941.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Realist Work No. 2 von Sang Huoyao kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.469,92) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sang Huoyao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Forbidden City beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 63.941,96) versteigert wurde.
