Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Te Perfido Carro! by Sandro Chia was auctioned at Christies in New York in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 56,700.00 (€ 53,000.56). Admittedly, works by Sandro Chia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pharmacist's son in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 252,500.00 (€ 362,606.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Te Perfido Carro! von Sandro Chia kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 56.700,00 (€ 53.000,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sandro Chia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pharmacist's son im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 252.500,00 (€ 362.606,61).
