Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sandro Chia could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery on Sunset auction, the work The Kiss; Road Concern changed hands for USD 140.80 (€ 129.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandro Chia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pharmacist's son in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 252,500.00 (€ 362,606.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sandro Chia konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Discovery on Sunset wechselte die Arbeit The Kiss; Road Concern für USD 140,80 (€ 129,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandro Chia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Pharmacist's son im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 252.500,00 (€ 362.606,61).
