This artwork by Sandro Chia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November this year. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, the work Untitled (Blast) sold for EUR 27,720.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandro Chia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pharmacist's son in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 252,500.00 (€ 362,606.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sandro Chia erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Blast) für EUR 27.720,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandro Chia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Pharmacist's son im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 252.500,00 (€ 362.606,61).
