Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ryan Mosley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2017. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Emperor Butterfly sold for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,953.43) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ryan Mosley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tag Team sold at auction in October 2020 with the realized price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,208.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ryan Mosley erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Emperor Butterfly für GBP 17.500,00 (€ 19.953,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ryan Mosley; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tag Team im Oktober 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.208,29).
