In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Untitled (S.402, Hanging Two Interlocked Spheres, Each Containing One Sphere that Interlocks with an Outer Half-Sphere Form) sold for USD 639,000.00 (€ 542,721.25) - well above the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruth Asawa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (S.387, Hanging Three Separate Layers of Three-Lobed Forms) in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 4,095,000.00 (€ 3,716,308.19).
