It achieved a price of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,301.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rupert Jasen Smith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Greta Garbo, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,013.23).

Die Arbeit Shiseido; Honda; Astro Boy; and Packman from Homage to Andy Warhol von Rupert Jasen Smith kam im Oktober 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.301,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rupert Jasen Smith mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Greta Garbo beobachtet, die im März 2007 für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.013,23) versteigert wurde.
