Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rowland Suddaby could be acquired at Christies in London in February 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Terraced grove; and Boats at shore changed hands for GBP 360.00 (€ 533.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rowland Suddaby achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with Flowers by a Window in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,989.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rowland Suddaby konnte im Februar 2007 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit Terraced grove; and Boats at shore für GBP 360,00 (€ 533,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rowland Suddaby erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers by a Window im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.989,65).
