Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mill Pool on the Stour, Suffolk; and Norfolk coast by Rowland Suddaby was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in December 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 787.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Rowland Suddaby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Flowers by a Window in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,989.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mill Pool on the Stour, Suffolk; and Norfolk coast von Rowland Suddaby wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 787,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rowland Suddaby auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers by a Window im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.989,65).
