Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rowland Suddaby could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors - Style & Spirit Including Collection of a Nobleman Part I auction, the work The Mill pond, Essex; and On the Moor, South Yorkshire changed hands for GBP 562.50 (€ 692.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Rowland Suddaby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Flowers by a Window in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,989.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
