Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still Life with Flowers by Rowland Suddaby was sold in the Modern British Art auction at Christies in London in September 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,929.66), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rowland Suddaby - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life with Flowers by a Window, which sold at auction in December 2000 for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,989.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers von Rowland Suddaby wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.929,66) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rowland Suddaby mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers by a Window beobachtet, die im Dezember 2000 für GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.989,65) versteigert wurde.
