Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Regents Crescent, London; and The Abbey Road Building from Regent's Park by Rowland Suddaby was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2009. The price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 673.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Rowland Suddaby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Flowers by a Window in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,989.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Regents Crescent, London; and The Abbey Road Building from Regent's Park von Rowland Suddaby kam im März 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 673,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rowland Suddaby auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers by a Window im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.989,65).
