Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cornwall near Land's End by Rowland Suddaby. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,021.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rowland Suddaby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Flowers by a Window in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,989.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cornwall near Land's End von Rowland Suddaby zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.021,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rowland Suddaby auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers by a Window im Dezember 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.989,65).
