Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2007 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Suffolk landscape by Rowland Suddaby. The price achieved of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,913.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Rowland Suddaby have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2000 the work Still Life with Flowers by a Window was auctioned for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,989.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Suffolk landscape von Rowland Suddaby zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.913,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Rowland Suddaby konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2000 die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers by a Window für GBP 3.760,00 (€ 5.989,65) versteigert.
