Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work No. 26 by Ron Davis for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,309.36). This price was achieved in the auction Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron Davis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July 2013 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 61,173.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit No. 26 von Ron Davis für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.309,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron Davis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 61.173,02).
