Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Love In The Cage by Rokni Haerizadeh was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,008.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rokni Haerizadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 205,753.65).
