Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rokni Haerizadeh could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction, the work Evolution and Carnival changed hands for GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,061.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rokni Haerizadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 205,753.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rokni Haerizadeh konnte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East wechselte die Arbeit Evolution and Carnival für GBP 11.970,00 (€ 14.061,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rokni Haerizadeh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 205.753,65).
