Upper estimate price exceeded by 25 %.
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Khosrow and Shirin by Rokni Haerizadeh. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,590.61), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rokni Haerizadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 205,753.65).
