In October 2019 Christies in London held the auction Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Where is Art? by Rokni Haerizadeh. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,848.83), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rokni Haerizadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 205,753.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Where is Art? von Rokni Haerizadeh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.848,83) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rokni Haerizadeh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 205.753,65).
