In April 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Iranianin The Wry Bleakness Of Winter, When We Whipped The Soil And Shed Startled Puppies Like A Skin by Rokni Haerizadeh. The auction ended at the price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,083.40), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rokni Haerizadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 205,753.65).

Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Iranianin The Wry Bleakness Of Winter, When We Whipped The Soil And Shed Startled Puppies Like A Skin von Rokni Haerizadeh zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.083,40) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rokni Haerizadeh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 205.753,65).
