Sold at the upper estimate price
In March 2019 Christies in Dubai held the auction Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Basking by Rokni Haerizadeh. The auction ended at the price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,359.46), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rokni Haerizadeh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 205,753.65).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2019 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Basking von Rokni Haerizadeh zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.359,46) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rokni Haerizadeh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shomal (Beach at the Caspian) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 205.753,65).
