A top price for Roger Mayne - as previously expected
The work Three Studies, 1950S by Roger Mayne was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,900.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Three Studies, 1950S is the most expensive artwork by Roger Mayne that we have observed at auctions so far.
