Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included this untitled work by Robert Zandvliet. The price achieved of EUR 3,585.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Zandvliet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Vijver) in April last year with an auction result of EUR 37,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Zandvliet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.585,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Zandvliet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Vijver) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.800,00.
