Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Robert Zandvliet was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Zandvliet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Vijver) in April last year with an auction result of EUR 37,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Zandvliet wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Zandvliet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Vijver) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.800,00.
