In April 2018 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Robert Zandvliet. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 30,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Zandvliet; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (Vijver) sold at auction in April last year with the realized price of EUR 37,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Zandvliet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 30.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Robert Zandvliet; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (Vijver) im April letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 37.800,00.
