This artwork by Robert Zandvliet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 12,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Zandvliet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Vijver), which sold at auction in April last year for EUR 37,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Zandvliet erzielte im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Zandvliet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Vijver) beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert wurde.
