Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Robert Zandvliet was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 16,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Zandvliet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Vijver), which sold at auction in April last year for EUR 37,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Zandvliet kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 16.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Zandvliet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Vijver) beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert wurde.
