Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Kushner could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Edition auction, the work Seraphina changed hands for USD 375.00 (€ 336.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Kushner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Birds of Paradise II in March this year with an auction result of USD 21,420.00 (€ 19,701.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Kushner konnte im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Edition wechselte die Arbeit Seraphina für USD 375,00 (€ 336,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Kushner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Birds of Paradise II im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.420,00 (€ 19.701,99).
