The work Winter Orchid by Robert Kushner was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2011. It achieved a price of EUR 13,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Kushner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Birds of Paradise II sold at auction in March this year with the realized price of USD 21,420.00 (€ 19,701.99).

Die Arbeit Winter Orchid von Robert Kushner kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 13.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Robert Kushner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Birds of Paradise II im März diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 21.420,00 (€ 19.701,99).
