This artwork by Robert Kushner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in December 2018. In the Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online auction, the work Sunday sold for USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,146.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Kushner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Birds of Paradise II in March this year with an auction result of USD 21,420.00 (€ 19,701.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Kushner erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online wurde die Arbeit Sunday für USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.146,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Kushner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Birds of Paradise II im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.420,00 (€ 19.701,99).
