Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Crouching Cat by Robert Clatworthy for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,352.51). This price was achieved in the auction Made in Britain at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Clatworthy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horse & Rider, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 15,258.20).
