This artwork by Rob Wynne achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2007. In the Contemporary Art Part II auction, the work The Fly sold for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,106.21) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rob Wynne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fate, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 18,900.00 (€ 16,227.35).

In der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II wurde die Arbeit The Fly für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.106,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rob Wynne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fate beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 18.900,00 (€ 16.227,35) versteigert wurde.
