Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rob Wynne achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March 2014. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Truth sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,516.95) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rob Wynne; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Fate sold at auction in October 2020 with the realized price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 16,227.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rob Wynne erzielte im März 2014 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Under the Influence wurde die Arbeit Truth für USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.516,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rob Wynne; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Fate im Oktober 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 16.227,35).
