Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rob Scholte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overspel (Adultery) in April last year with an auction result of EUR 40,320.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Olympies vuur - Olympic fire von Rob Scholte wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion TwentiethCentury Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rob Scholte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overspel (Adultery) im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.320,00.
