Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A place not far from here by Rivane Neuenschwander was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in New York in May 2015. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,109.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rivane Neuenschwander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885], which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 68,219.03).

Die Arbeit A place not far from here von Rivane Neuenschwander wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.109,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rivane Neuenschwander mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885] beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 75.000,00 (€ 68.219,03) versteigert wurde.
