Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rivane Neuenschwander could be acquired at Phillips in New York in November 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin America auction, the work Canteiros / Conversations and Constructions changed hands for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,752.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rivane Neuenschwander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885], which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 68,219.03).

In der Auktion Latin America wechselte die Arbeit Canteiros / Conversations and Constructions für USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.752,32) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rivane Neuenschwander mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit One Thousand and One Possible Nights [N. 51-55|AID420885] beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 75.000,00 (€ 68.219,03) versteigert wurde.
