Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richmond Burton could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Study For Radioactivity changed hands for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,460.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richmond Burton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eyes In The Heat in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,846.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Richmond Burton konnte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York wechselte die Arbeit Study For Radioactivity für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.460,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
