Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Relationships I and II by Richard Lin. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,152.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Lin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work January 1967 in September 2018 with an auction result of HKD 7,670,000.00 (€ 844,082.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Relationships I and II von Richard Lin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.152,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Lin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit January 1967 im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.670.000,00 (€ 844.082,77).
