Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting 1958 by Richard Lin was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November this year. The price achieved of HKD 537,400.00 (€ 63,061.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Lin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work January 1967 in September 2018 with an auction result of HKD 7,670,000.00 (€ 844,082.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Painting 1958 von Richard Lin wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 537.400,00 (€ 63.061,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 650.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Lin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit January 1967 im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.670.000,00 (€ 844.082,77).
