Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition 12-8-60 by Richard Lin was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 55,144.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Lin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work January 1967 in September 2018 with an auction result of HKD 7,670,000.00 (€ 844,082.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition 12-8-60 von Richard Lin wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 55.144,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 380.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Lin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit January 1967 im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.670.000,00 (€ 844.082,77).
