Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art | London Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso, which included the work Camel by Reuven Rubin. The price achieved of GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,594.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reuven Rubin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Road To Meron in December 2015 with an auction result of USD 634,000.00 (€ 583,847.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | London Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso durch, in der auch die Arbeit Camel von Reuven Rubin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.594,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reuven Rubin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Road To Meron im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 634.000,00 (€ 583.847,50).
