Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deux antilopes goudou ou deux amis by Rembrandt Bugatti was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Online auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 89,565.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rembrandt Bugatti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Babouin Sacré Hamadryas in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,770,000.00 (€ 2,519,556.12).

Die Arbeit Deux antilopes goudou ou deux amis von Rembrandt Bugatti wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 89.565,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rembrandt Bugatti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Babouin Sacré Hamadryas im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.770.000,00 (€ 2.519.556,12).
